Addiction Resource Center has expanded its evening Intensive Outpatient Program with evening telehealth sessions for working adults and caregivers needing flexible substance abuse recovery treatment without sacrificing employment or family responsibilities.

Yuba City, United States, January 14, 2026 /NewsNetwork/ — Evening IOP from Addiction Resource Center is a new telehealth-based intensive outpatient program built around the schedules of working adults. Sessions run during evening hours, which means clients can access licensed clinical support for substance use disorders outside of working hours.

Traditional treatment programs tend to operate during the 9-to-5 window which works well for many people, but it shuts out anyone who cannot afford to miss work or who has kids to pick up from school. Evening IOP was created with a recognition of this gap and the team at Addiction Resource Center structured their entire model around creating a program that fits into real life.

“People talk themselves out of getting help all the time because the logistics feel impossible,” a company spokesperson said. “They worry about missing paychecks or falling behind at work. We wanted to build something that removes those excuses. Recovery should not require choosing between your health and your livelihood.”

Sessions take place through a secure virtual platform and group therapy sessions bring clients together in real time with licensed clinicians facilitating the conversation. Individual therapy rounds out the experience, giving each person space to work through their own challenges at their own pace. Remote drug and alcohol testing keeps everyone accountable without requiring trips to a physical location.

The program carries Joint Commission accreditation, DHCS licensing, and LegitScript certification, proving that the clinical standards behind the service meet industry benchmarks.

Staff members also help clients sort through insurance verification and enrollment paperwork, as starting treatment already feels like a big step for many people, adds the ARC representative. Piling administrative headaches on top of that discourages people from following through.

With this in mind, the program targets adults who have responsibilities during the day but still need structured clinical support. By shifting sessions to evening hours and delivering them online, Evening IOP opens the door for people who might otherwise wait years before seeking help for addiction recovery—or never seek it at all.
