CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WVVA) – Jobs & Hope WV, in collaboration with the West Virginia Office of Drug Control Policy (ODCP), is set to host its inaugural “Day of Hope” at the State Capitol during the 2026 Legislative Session. This significant event, scheduled for Tuesday, January 20th, 2026, will serve as a dedicated Legislative Day to highlight the profound impact of Jobs & Hope WV and its extensive network of statewide partners.
The “Day of Hope” will provide a crucial platform to showcase how Jobs & Hope WV and ODCP are instrumental in connecting individuals in recovery and reentry with vital resources, services and support systems throughout West Virginia. The event is designed to bring together legislators, program partners, staff members, program graduates and past participants to celebrate inspiring success stories and foster stronger collaboration across the state.
Key highlights of the event include:
- Networking & Collaboration: An invaluable opportunity for partners, graduates and participants to connect, share experiences and reinforce relationships.
- Partner Exhibits: Jobs & Hope WV partners are invited to register for a table to proudly display their programs and services.
- Legislative Engagement: A chance to demonstrate to lawmakers how Jobs & Hope WV and its partners collectively create pathways to employment, sustainable recovery and renewed hope for West Virginians.
Partners interested in hosting an exhibit table are encouraged to register online, as space is limited. There is no cost to register or attend this impactful event.
