Having recently experienced yet another short relapse by my son, I wanted to jot down a few things that helped me over the past few months. Hopefully this share will help others.
His drug of choice did not factor into the madness this time. However that factor is irrelevant. He relapsed; he is substituting one drug for another. His character flaws are as “Lit up “ as they were when he was injecting heroin.
He needs to refocus and dim the lights of relapse. He knows where the light switch is.
