The day after Thanksgiving

If yesterday was a bad day, sit down alone and analyze what went wrong. Be honest. Were your expectations too high? We must learn not to do the same things over and over and change the game plan for the next holiday.

The definition of insanity is doing the same things over and over and expecting different results. This was taught to me early but is still one of the best tools ever presented to me.

July 4th – Holiday Addiction is color blind

The task is to administer that same consistent treatment to your child regardless of the calendar date. Letting an active user come home to today’s family cookout will normally end in tears. Balance and protect your life. Keep your expectations in check.
